If you have a lot of Understand projects you may prefer to navigate between them in File Explorer on Windows instead of using the File->Open navigation in Understand. Here's a option to add a shortcut to open the current folder in Understand.

1. Open File Explorer and type shell:sendto into the address bar. This will open a predefined location, the Send To folder.

2. Next Right-click in an empty part of that folder and select New->Shortcut and navigate to Understand - the default location is C:\Program Files\SciTools\bin\pc-win64\understand.exe. This will add a shortcut to Understand in this folder

That's it. Now you can right-click on any Understand project folder ending with a .und and select Send To -> Understand and the project will open in Understand.
