On Windows you can install Understand automatically by running the installer from the command line or remotely with the /S command. If you want to specify a different install directory you can do so by including /D=Directory Name. The Directory needs to be the last thing on the command line and can have spaces in the directory names. For example: 

Understand-5.953-Windows-64bit.exe /S /D=C:\Extra Tools\SciTools
