The Source Lines of Code (SLOC)(LOC) metric counts the number of lines of source code in your project.

Understand acts as a source code line counter and also lets you:

  • export metrics to spreadsheets

  • view them graphically

  • dynamically explore them in the GUI

  • extract them automatically via command line calls

  • customize metrics via the Understand Perl API
